Unfortunately the time has come to sell our beloved 80 series Landcruiser. The last of the “real” Landcruisers, equipped with a stout inline 6 and solid front axle. They certainly don’t make them like this anymore.
The good (new stuff replaced within the last 7k miles)
- head gasket replaced and top end rebuild at 168k all oem parts were used
- 3” Dobinsons “flexy” coils
- fox extended travel shocks
- slee stainless extended brake lines
- 37x12.5r17” Falken wildpeak M/T
- 12k lb winch with synthetic line.
- Ironman front bumper
- ram mount dash pocket
-Auburn gear Max lock rear locker
- New brakes
- Front axle complete overhaul
The not so good…
- rust on both lower quarter panels the right side is worse than the left. I really wanted to chop the quarters near the body line and build a high clearance bumper but never got around to it.
-surface rust on frame and under body components. Nothing I’m personally worried about but I’d like to disclose that it does exist.
