Most BaseCamper listings are sold by third parties. BaseCamper is a marketplace that connects buyers with sellers, rental hosts, and vendors. For the great majority of listings — private-seller rigs, one-off vehicles, gear sold by independent sellers, and items referred from other sources — BaseCamper does not process the payment and is not the seller. Those sales are final as far as BaseCamper is concerned, and any return, refund, or post-sale arrangement is strictly between you and the seller. We encourage you to inspect items and confirm all details with the seller before paying.
Items purchased directly through BaseCamper's checkout. Some items can be bought directly on BaseCamper and ship from the vendor or brand that supplies them. For these, the applicable return and refund terms are those of the originating vendor, including the return window, restocking fees (if any), and condition requirements. Because these vary by vendor, the specific terms for an eligible item are the supplier's; if they aren't shown at checkout, contact us and we'll confirm them before you buy.
To request a return on a checkout purchase: email HQ@BaseCamper.com with your order number within the vendor's stated return window. We'll coordinate with the vendor on eligibility, return shipping, and any refund. Refunds, when approved, are issued to your original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected by the vendor.
Generally not returnable: used vehicles, trailers, and rigs; one-of-a-kind or private-seller items; custom or made-to-order gear; and anything not purchased through BaseCamper's checkout.
