Description
Camping without the commitment. 840 pounds, tows behind almost anything, sets up in minutes.
This is a SylvanSport GO, and it is not a normal camper. It weighs 840 pounds dry, which means you can pull it with a crossover, a small SUV, or a four-cylinder wagon. No diesel truck, no white-knuckle mountain grades, no 8 mpg. You will barely know it is back there.
Then it pops up into a real shelter: over six feet of standing headroom, a heavy 220-denier ripstop tent body (three times tougher than a family camping tent), and doors and windows with three layers each (screen, clear weather panel, and privacy). You sleep off the ground, out of the mud, away from whatever is crawling around out there.
WHO This IS Perfect FOR:
Tent campers ready to upgrade without buying a truck
Anyone hauling bikes, kayaks, boards, or coolers (the rack system carries up to 200 lbs and fits Thule, Yakima, and Malone hardware)
Families who want a basecamp at Pisgah, DuPont, or anywhere off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
First-time renters intimidated by a 30-foot rig
Festival, race, and trailhead weekends where you need gear AND a bed
WHO This IS NOT FOR:
I would rather you book the right rig than leave a bad review. This is elevated tent camping, not a hotel on wheels. If you need a bathroom, a shower, a kitchen, or air conditioning, book a Class C instead. No hard feelings.
Sleeping:
The interior reconfigures in about a minute:
Two XL Twin beds (34" x 80" each) on the side platforms, with the center open as a table and walkway
One "King-and-a-Half" platform (116" x 80") filling the whole interior, sleeping up to 4
Dinette mode with a table between the two beds for cards, coffee, and waiting out the rain
Beds are 80 inches long, so tall adults actually fit. 4 Mattress Pads included; bring your own sleeping bags or linens and pillows.
Gear Hauling:
The GO is a camper and a utility trailer at the same time. Flat cargo mode gives you 84" x 48" of deck with an 800 lb capacity, plus 200 lbs on the roof rack. Bikes, kayaks, canoes, coolers, firewood, whatever the trip needs. Most campers make you leave the toys at home. This one is built to carry them.
What'S Included:
Tow Hitch with 2" ball
4 Inflatable Mattress Pads
Zip-on Awning
Cargo Rack on Top
*Other Camping Accessories Available Upon Request
Your TOW Vehicle (Important, Check Before YOU Book)
Your vehicle needs:
A rated tow capacity of at least [Your Minimum, e.g., 1,650 lbs]
A 2-inch hitch receiver already installed
A 4-pin (or 7-pin) wiring connector for lights
