Unlike many camper vans designed primarily for couples, the Sprinter Inn was thoughtfully built to accommodate an actual family.

The Sprinter Inn was designed and constructed by the owner of a custom home remodeling and woodworking company.

The van was built using many of the same principles used in a high-quality home, including extensive sound control, insulation, moisture management, and durable custom finishes.

The build includes:

* Sound-deadening materials throughout
* Rock wool and 3M Thinsulate insulation
* Insulated flooring rated approximately R-9
* Interior vapor control
* Custom cabinetry and woodwork
* Durable materials selected for real family use

The insulation package helps the van remain more comfortable during both cold-weather and warm-weather travel. Our own family has used it in temperatures in the teens as well as during warmer summer trips.

This van is currently set up primarily for campground travel and highway road trips. A campsite with shore power is strongly recommended, particularly when using the air conditioner, microwave, or other high-demand electrical equipment.

The auxiliary battery system supports lighting, charging, refrigeration, and normal daily use, but the van is not being offered as a full off-grid or extended boondocking vehicle.

Easy and Comfortable to Drive

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter provides a smooth, stable driving experience with excellent visibility and many of the comforts expected from a modern passenger vehicle.

The AWD system provides additional confidence during changing Pacific Northwest road and weather conditions. However, the van must remain on paved roads and maintained campground access roads.

The AWD system does not authorize beach driving, off-roading, mud, sand, trails, forest roads, or unmaintained roads.

A Few Important Rental Rules

We want families to enjoy the van while also helping us keep it safe, clean, and dependable for future guests.

* All drivers must be approved and verified through the rental platform.
* No smoking or vaping.
* No off-road travel.
* No beach or sand driving.
* No towing.
* No festivals or large unsupervised events.
* No travel into Mexico.
* No unauthorized drivers.
* No roof access.
* The van must be returned with the agreed fuel level and in reasonably clean condition.
* Guests are responsible for recovery costs resulting from prohibited driving or becoming stuck.
* Children must use legally required car seats or booster seats supplied and installed by the renter.
