Named for his Idaho-an roots and brown potato-like shape, Spud began his life in Southwest Idaho before gradually making his journey to Northern Virginia. Spud has once again returned to his homeland as of March 2024. Spud is a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter van on a 170” chassis. Spud began as a cargo van before being professionally converted to the off-grid capable home you see today.
Whether your intention is for a weekend at the beach or an extended period of off-grid living in the mountains, Spud is sure to take you there. Spud boasts many amenities to make you feel right at home, such as:
