It can hold a family of 4, but really two adults very comfortably, but 2 adults and small kids work as well! The reason we picked this roof top tent was because you can leave your bedding in it and close it for quick camp take downs and setups.

I have all the accessories, like shoe holders, ladder, light, window holders etc...,
However, I added two key things:
First I painted the roof with LINE-X to ensure it could stand up the Colorado sun and prevent any cracking or water leaks.
Second, I have the roofnest inflatable mattress in there as well which is a nice upgrade.
