This van has a valid Michigan State Park pass (located on the license plate) allowing you to utilize Michigan State Parks without an entry fee.
This van is heated and ready for your Fall and Winter travel.
We top off all fluids (gas, DEF, windshield wiper, ect.) prior to the trip. Renter is responsible for re-filling if needed during their trip. Please contact us for instructions on how to fill DEF if necessary!
Wanting to travel with your family, but don’t want to pull a trailer or drive a large RV? North, the Family Van, will be your perfect fit!
North is our first family van here at Safe + Sonder Vans. He can seat 5 and sleep up to 5 with an inflatable Luno Bed add-on. There is a fixed bed in the rear of the van and two 60” long bunk beds. North is powered by EcoFlow and comes with an easy to read touch screen. It is charged by solar, shore power, and the alternator while you drive. The large Dometic fridge and freezer will hold enough food for the family with plenty of space for non-perishables in the cabinetry. The white color and full windows will help it feel open and inviting for your entire family.
North comes with all basic travel needs such as a portable butane cooktop, kitchen utensils, a cassette toilet, plates/cups/bowls, and ample storage for all of your family needs! He is ready to make your family trip as relaxing and memorable as possible.
With thorough cleaning and sanitizing between each rental, you can be sure that you will be starting your trip off exactly how you should: clean, stocked, packed, and ready to hit the road!
On our off grid, North is ready to give your family the trip you’ve been waiting to take!

Host rules
We ask and expect you to follow the rules of our van at all times. Not only is this a van that we are happy to offer for you and many others to enjoy, but we also use this van for our own personal trips and experiences.
NO Smoking of ANY kind
Please, no smoking of any kind. Cigarettes, marijuana, vaping, e-cigarettes, etc.
NO extra guests
Our fees only accommodate 1-2 people. Please respect the space and capacity.
NO Music Festivals/Concerts
In an effort to keep our rig safe, clean, and respected, please do not take this van to any music festivals or concerts.
Wear your seatbelt when driving
All passengers must be belted while the vehicle is in motion. We are not responsible for any injuries that occur from renter negligence.
NO speeding
Obey all traffic signs and speeds at ALL times.
NO illegal substances or underage use of legal
Absolutely no illegal substances, underage use of any legal substances.
NO getting onto the roof
This roof is not meant for lounging and there should be no roof access or attempts.
Be respectful of what you cook
We all know that some food can have a strong and lingering smell long after it is cooked. Out of respect for the next renters and hosts, please cook all strong smelling food outside of the rig during your stay. For Example: Bacon, Fish, Sauerkraut, etc.

This space is special. We expect you to take care of the build and maintain a clean, damage free stay. Clean up after yourself, wipe up any spills immediately, do your best to keep the space tidy.
NO electric heaters/air conditioners
These can be very dangerous and power consuming for a Campervan. If you need heat, it is best to use our built in heater and if you need to cool down, it is best to get a good airflow and park in the shade if possible.
