Napali is one of the most unique pieces of artwork you can experience VanLife on the island of Kauai. A family-owned vehicle since 1999, this one of a kind van has only had one owner. The incredible mural was meticulously designed by the owner and executed by surfer, van & mural artist Drew Brophy.

Napali can sleep 2 in the fold out bed, up to 2 children on the soft carpeted floor (we put a mattress topper under 2 sets of plush rugs.
For taller/larger groups of up to 5, we offer awesome pop-up tents and full sized air mattresses.

Note that the people that gave a three star review did not heed my advice about where to camp. Instead, they went to salt pond and they got asked to sleep outside the van. I feel like the review was retaliatory as my tone was very sweet and nice in the messages and I never gave them any hassles and lots of recommendations of things to do. I was surprised they chose to camp there despite my advice.
Note:
Sleeping Inside A Vehicle IS Technically Prohibited ON Public Roads AND Government Property IN THE State OF Hawaii. NOT Just Kauai. So by booking any vehicle with a bed, you accept to sleep inside the van is at your own risk.
Kumu Camp HAS Logs That Have Ripped OFF THE Running Board Causing Over $10k Worth OF Damage ON This Vehicle. This is because the artist needs to be flown out in order to repaint any part of the mural. We Strongly Advise against Kumu Camp with this particular vehicle.
But if you do decide to go there, Please Assess THE Random Logs AND Dirt Road prior to driving especially at night. The entrance has a hair pin turn which is where the damage to this van has occurred in the past.
