Description
Skycamp Mini Rooftop Tent + Extras
Selling my beloved RTT in great condition with all original hardwear/accessories (below) because we’re moving and sadly won’t be able to use it anymore. This is genuinely one of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made, and I’m going to be very sad to see it go.
The Skycamp Mini is such a good setup because it has the comfort and convenience of an all-weather hardshell RTT without turning your car into a giant, heavy camping rig with a million folds of fabric you need to deal with.
Why I’ve loved it:
• Ridiculously fast setup: I can have it opened and be climbing into bed in about 60 seconds, rain or shine. Packing it back up also takes me around 5 minutes.
• Only ~165 lbs: One of the reasons I chose this model. It’s super lightweight for a hardshell rooftop tent and fits on pretty much any car (iKamper even famously advertised the Mini mounted on a Mini Cooper when it first launched).
• Low-profile and aerodynamic: It never felt like I was driving around with a huge box on my roof. On my Jeep, I’d estimate it only cost me around 1–2 MPG.
• Perfect for two people (+a dog): Cozy, comfortable, and so much more flexible in terms of adventures. Way easier than arriving somewhere late and having to pitch a normal tent in the dark.
• Hard shell: Keeps everything protected and weathertight, packs down neatly, and makes spontaneous weekend camping dramatically easier.
I’ll also include, for free:
— Matching 2-person iKamper padded air mattress
— 12v Air pump
— the twinkle lights for cozy nights :)
(I lost the original power bank for the lights, but it’s a normal plug so you’ll just need to pick up a rechargeable USB power bank.)
It’s in great condition. There’s one light scratch on the top of the pebbled matte-black shell, but it blends into the finish and is barely noticeable.
It’s been genuinely so beloved and was bought because I wanted something high-quality that made camping easier rather than more complicated. If we weren’t moving, I would absolutely be keeping it.
Happy to answer questions or send additional photos/details.
Must be able to pick up near Edgewater Public Market in Denver (I’d recommend 2-3 people and a pickup truck or van to transport it in if you don’t have a roof rack ready to install it on)
