I've spent the last five seasons exploring every corner of this desert region. It's too good! If it's your first time here, buckle up... literally. Some of the roads leading out to the best campsites can get a little rough, but that's exactly what keeps them so special. This place is going to blow your mind. It blew me away the first time I rolled into town, and now I can't imagine not spending part of every year here.
When I bought this lil Airstream I chose the Bambi model because I wanted the freedom to camp just about anywhere—especially in the more remote, harder-to-tow-to spots, beyond the areas that the bigger rigs would have to settle for.
Her compact size means I can pull her down rugged desert roads and out to incredible campsites that larger trailers simply can't reach.
She slips right into tighter areas with no problems—allowing me to totally escape those crowded, easily accessible camp spots that always get overrun by all the tourist traffic. I’m kinda became low-key obsessed with finding and camping in the most epic campsites and I am excited to share them with you!
At just 16 feet, she’s perfect for an adventurous couple, a solo traveler, or even a small (3p) family.
In the back, there’s a cozy full-ish size bed, and up front the dinette folds down for an additional sleeping spot.
Even though she’s pretty petite, she’s totally sleek inside with a modern design and packed with comforts like a nice-sized mini-fridge, a stove, a microwave, air conditioning, heating, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, even a TV. More importantly, there’s Bluetooth surround sound so you can wake up and start dancing to that good view while making your cup of coffee.
And the best part—I upgraded her with a lithium battery system, so she’s completely off-grid capable. As long as there’s sun, she’s a powerhouse—running on solar with a converter for the 12-volt setup.
I absolutely love hosting her for campers coming to explore this area— Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, the La Sals, Indian Creek, and Castle Valley all have great camping options nearby that Bambi and I love to spend our shoulder seasons sharing with campers coming to enjoy. If you're craving an escape with no crowded campsites and no expensive RV parks, Bambi's your best bet. I can help you get exactly where you want to go!
Don’t worry if you’ve never stayed in a camper before, don’t know where to camp, or have zero towing experience!
I offer delivery all around the Moab area and can even help arrange campsites plus handle setup and breakdown for you.
If you don’t already have a camping reservation, I’m happy to help in a couple different ways:
• I can set Bambi up at one of our favorite first-come, first-served designated or dispersed camping spots.
• Or I can help book you into a paid reservable campground that we recommend for the area.
For first come first serve sites in a paid campground or dispersed setups, there is an additional $100 logistical fee added to the standard delivery/setup cost. (See boondocking add on) This covers the extra time and coordination it takes to secure an incredible spot that's unreservable before your arrival .
(And trust me... if you think you're rolling into Moab on a weekend and casually finding an epic open campsite... bless your heart!)
Most RV parks charge $100+ per night anyway, so this is often a way better option if you want a more peaceful, scenic, and disconnected experience.
Just send an inquiry and I’m happy to walk through all the options with you based on your dates and where you’re hoping to adventure!
