Welcome to my custom boujee-basic adventure van: a fully built-out Ford Transit AWD made for chasing powder, waves, the open road, sunshine, and everything in between. I live in it full-time in the winter, and am considering renting it out when traveling in the summer.
Built by me and pro shop West Coast Vans in San Clemente, CA, this van is my little cute cottage. It's place I go when I want to wake up somewhere beautiful, spend my days outside, read on the beach, disconnect online, or just have some space to myself.
This isn't a rental fleet van that's never left a parking lot. It's a real, road-tested adventure rig that's been lived in, traveled in, and thoughtfully built out with the goal of making life on the road feel comfortable, cozy, and easy.
Whether you're looking to take a solo road trip, chase a swell, spend a few days in the mountains, or simply see what it's like to have your own little home base wherever you go, I hope this van gives you the same feeling it gives me:
A way to slow down and enjoy the little moments in life. And rip your snowboard more!
Sleep
A cozy full-sized bed. Pretty comfy if you ask me. Extra blankets and pillows are included because being cozy is non-negotiable.
Cook + Hang
Two portable stoves and a Jetboil make morning coffee, simple meals, and post-adventure snacks easy: whether you're parked by the ocean or tucked away in the mountains. Butane is included.
Power
With a 1,200-watt battery bank and 400 watts of rooftop solar, you can comfortably spend time off-grid without constantly searching for an outlet. Shore power is also available when you want to plug in.
The van has a fridge/freezer to keep your food and drinks cold, plus hot water for when you need a proper rinse after a long day outside. Just give the water heater about 15 minutes to warm up.
Storage
There's plenty of under-bed storage for boards, wetsuits, snow gear, camping equipment, and all the things you inevitably bring along for an adventure.
Rinse OFF
Sandy feet, salty hair, muddy boots — bring it on. The outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach or in the mountains before climbing into your clean, cozy bed.
Made FOR Adventure
This van was built for road trips, surf trips, mountain weekends, solo adventures, and those "let's just see where the road takes us" kind of days.
It's also a pretty great way to try out van life before committing to building one yourself. Or to simply give yourself permission to take a few days away, spend some time alone, and reconnect with the things that make you feel most like yourself.
