Description
The newest van in Orange County, with satellite internet included.
This is a brand-new 2026 Grand Design Lineage LVT1 — all-wheel drive, pop-top, and Starlink satellite WiFi at no extra charge. You can work from a forest road in Big Bear on Thursday and be back for dinner Sunday.
Why this van
All-wheel drive. Most camper vans in Southern California are front-wheel drive and stop where the pavement does. This one doesn't. Big Bear in the snow, forest roads to dispersed camping, sand at the beach lots — the Ford Transit AWD handles it on a 310hp EcoBoost V6 with upgraded suspensions. Runs on regular gas, not diesel.
Starlink satellite internet, included. Not a $25/night add-on. Real broadband where your phone has zero bars, which means remote work trips, streaming for the kids on a rainy afternoon, and being reachable when you need to be. This is rare in a rental van — most hosts don't have it.
Pop-top that sleeps four. The main bed is a full 54" x 80". Pop the roof and there's a second 47" x 76" bed up top with a skylight and wraparound windows — the kids will fight over it. Four seatbelts (two with Isofix) so everyone rides safely and legally.
Power that doesn't quit, and no generator noise. A 5,120Wh lithium battery bank plus rooftop solar runs the fridge, the lights, the outlets and the 20,000 BTU air conditioning. No generator to meter, no hourly fees, no waking up the campsite next to you. Plug into 30-amp shore power at a campground or stay off-grid for days.
What's inside
Wet bath with a real shower and toilet
3.2 cu ft refrigerator and a 2.5-gallon water heater
Convertible dinette with an expandable table
34 gallons fresh water, 23 gallons gray
2 gallon cassette toilet
6,800 BTU furnace for cold nights
Power awning
6'4" interior standing height
Good to know before you book
At 20'11" this van fits standard campsites, most parking garages, and a normal driveway — you don't need an RV site or a special license. It drives like a big van, not a bus.
One honest note: this is a wet bath with a cassette toilet, not a full black tank system. Great for weekends and week-long trips, and you'll want to plan a dump stop if you're four people staying out longer than that. I'd rather tell you now than have you find out on day three.
Mileage, delivery and the boring stuff
125 miles per night included — enough for Joshua Tree and back without thinking about it. Overage is $0.39/mile. Pets welcome with a small fee.
I deliver anywhere in Orange County, including John Wayne Airport (SNA). If you're flying in, this is the easy button: land, meet me at the van, go. Delivery quoted by distance.
Booking with me
Every renter gets a full walkthrough — how the pop-top works, how to aim the Starlink dish, where everything lives — and a printed cheat sheet to take with you. I answer my phone during your trip. If something goes sideways at 9pm in Anza-Borrego, call me.
The van is cleaned and sanitized between every rental. Weekly and monthly discounts available — just ask.
