The best part? It's "The Motorhome That... Drives Like a Van!". It fits in a standard parking spot, handles like a van, and is a real pleasure to drive, whether on the highway or maneuvering through a packed campground.
Please note: this is a 30 year old camper van. Please don't chose this van if you need a modern driving experience and amenities. It comes with minor cosmetic wear and tear.
Detailed Amenities & Features
Sleeping (Up to 4):
A comfortable, permanent full-size bed (52" wide) is always ready for you in the rear, made with 5" thick dual-density foam for a firm, supportive night's sleep.
The front lounge area cleverly converts into two single beds (up to 67" long), perfect for kids or extra friends.
Kitchen (THE Galley):
Refrigerator: Dometic 3.0 cu. ft. 3-way fridge (runs on propane).
Stove: Two-burner propane stove.
Microwave: Panasonic 0.6 cu. ft. microwave oven.
Also Included: A sink with running water, an exhaust fan with light, and some basic cookware. We also provide a sink liner for personal use.
Living & Dining:
Flexible Seating: The two front captain's seats swivel to face the rear, opening up a roomy and comfortable living area.
Dining Table: The patented cloverleaf dining table offers a large surface area for meals and games, then folds away compactly.
Bathroom
Clever Private Bathroom: Instead of a cramped, permanent closet, the Roadtrek features a patented temporary bathroom. Bifold doors create a spacious and private area around the marine-style toilet, which is concealed in a closet when not in use.
Exterior Shower extension: Perfect for rinsing off sandy feet after a day at the beach. Outdoor shower is available at an add on charge and would need to be added separately to the booking.
Storage Solutions:
Exterior Storage: A cavernous, 7 cu. ft. waterproof storage compartment is integrated directly into the running boards.
Interior Storage: With up to 80 cubic feet of total storage space, you never have to leave important extras behind! Much of this is possible because water tanks are located under the floor, maximizing interior living and storage space.
Utilities & Capacities:
Fresh Water Tank: 34 US gallons / 129 Liters
Grey Water Tank: 29 US gallons / 109 Liters
Black Water Tank: 13 US gallons / 49 Liters
Propane (LPG): 8 US gallons / 31 Liters
Convenience: Features the "Dura Drain" system with a permanently attached sewage hose, eliminating messy handling.
Climate & Comfort:
Furnace: A 16,000 BTU automatic propane furnace to keep you warm.
Air Conditioning: A built-in 110V air conditioner keeps the interior cool without adding drag to the roofline.
Ventilation: A powerful, 12V thermostat-controlled FanTastic roof vent provides excellent air circulation , and awning-style windows can be opened even when it's raining.
Picture Your Perfect Getaway...
Coastal Cruising: Imagine cruising down Highway 1, pulling over at any vista point that calls to you. In the evening, there's no setup needed—just settle into the ready-made bed and let the ocean sing you to sleep.
Mountain Escape: Head for the majestic Sierras. The Beluga is your personal, mobile cabin, keeping you warm and cozy after a day of hiking among giants in Yosemite or Sequoia. Park by a serene alpine lake and enjoy the kind of peace and quiet the world just can’t offer.
Wine Country Weekend: Effortlessly cruise through the rolling hills of Napa or Sonoma. The size of the vehicle makes it easy to navigate narrow country roads and park at your favorite vineyards for a tasting.
The Roadtrek Difference: Clever Design & Quality:
Roadtreks are legendary for their innovative and space-efficient design. Unlike larger, boxy RVs, the Beluga was built with an unwavering commitment to quality and a clever, compact use of every inch of space.
Room to Move: Thanks to a lowered floor and custom roof, there's plenty of headroom for people up to 6 feet tall. The generous 30" wide aisle allows two people to pass by each other with ease.
Built for Comfort: The front captain's seats are made with a special molding process used by auto manufacturers, meaning they hold their shape and provide lasting comfort and lumbar support on long drives.
Aerodynamic & Efficient: The sleek, low-profile design is exceptionally aerodynamic, which translates to better fuel efficiency and handling compared to other motorhomes.

Host rules
1. Paved Roads and well-maintained gravel roads only (No Off-Roading)
The Beluga is a classic road-tripping van, not a 4x4. To prevent damage to the undercarriage and sensitive components, please stay on paved roads at all times. Occasionally, light-gravel roads are ok to get to campsites, etc. The van features a custom lowered floor to provide more interior headroom, and its clearance is not suitable for rough, unpaved surfaces. A great rule of thumb from the manufacturer is: "don't drive a Roadtrek where you wouldn't drive a car". This includes, but is not limited to, rugged Forest Service roads, desert trails, and driving on beaches.
2. Avoid Snow, Ice, and Freezing Conditions
For your safety and to protect the van's plumbing, driving in snow, ice, or on roads requiring chains is strictly prohibited. The Beluga is not equipped with snow tires. Most importantly, the van’s water system (fresh tank, water heater, and lines) is not designed for winter use and should not be used in below-freezing temperatures. Exposure to freezing weather can cause pipes to burst, leading to significant damage. Please plan your route to avoid winter conditions.
