Aloha!
Welcome to Hawaii! Meet Beachy Betty! Your Home Base for the Best of Oahu!
She's not flashy. She doesn't need to be. Beachy Betty is a 2004 Chevy Express campervan that does exactly what you need her to do: get you to the water, keep you comfortable, and make sure you wake up exactly where you want to be.
Betty is built for the person who'd rather fall asleep to waves than alarms. She's the van for solo travelers, surf-chasing couples, and anyone who has ever looked at a hotel room and thought — why am I paying this much when the beach is right there?
What you're getting:
New tires mean you're rolling smooth from the moment you pick up the keys. The Maxxair fan keeps the cabin cool even on the most humid Oahu nights — no AC drama, no stuffy mornings, just fresh island air on demand. Kenwood touchscreen with backup camera so you can actually park this thing without stress. Carpeted cabin with blinds throughout — blackout when you want to sleep in, open when you want to watch the sunrise from your bed.
Hand-sewn Hawaiian curtains and custom bed cushions were made for this van. This isn't a mattress-on-plywood situation. Someone actually cared about making it feel like a space you'd want to come back to.
The setup:
Full camp setup included. Betty has a sink, a portable shower, and a Kenwood sound system that hits harder than you'd expect from a van parked at the beach. Pull up to Sunset Beach, crack the doors, and let the playlist run. Nobody's mad about it.
She sleeps two comfortably — cozy, not cramped. Perfect for solo adventurers who want to spread out, or couples who don't mind being close. (Spoiler: you won't mind.)
Need a toilet? We've got you — a portable toilet is available for hire at an additional charge. Betty thinks of everything.
Where you'll want to take her:
Oahu's North Shore. Makapu'u. Waimanalo. Sandy Beach. Lanikai at first light before anyone else shows up. Betty fits everywhere a regular van fits — parking lots, campgrounds, and all the spots the rental car crowd never finds because they went back to their resort.
Pick her up and you're already in the right place. Drive to the pipeline, catch a North Shore sunrise, roll back to Betty for coffee before 8am. This is the life.
What makes Beachy Betty different from every other campervan listing:
She's been loved, not abused. Less than 3,000 miles since 2022 — mostly weekend beach trips and hosting friends visiting the island. Clear Carfax. Registration current. Great engine. New spark plugs, tie rod ends, sway bar end links and bushings. New aftermarket headlights. This van was maintained by someone who actually uses it and cares about it running right.
She's not a project. She's a lifestyle you can step into today.
A few honest notes:
Beachy Betty is a large van — she sleeps two, best for one or two guests who travel light and live simply. She's not a luxury RV and she doesn't pretend to be. What she has is a sink, a shower, great music, a great engine, and the freedom to park wherever the vibe takes you. On an island like Oahu, that's worth more than any five-star amenity list.
Bring your boards, your snorkel, your cooler, and your sense of adventure. Beachy Betty will handle the rest.
Aloha, and welcome to the best way to see Oahu!
