DirtBox Overland Canopy Camper, installed August 2025, one owner, and in nearly new condition. This is not a bare shell. It is a finished, working camper sold complete with the solar, the power station, the refrigerator and freezer, the diesel heater, the 270 degree awning, the shower setup and every accessory on it.
No build slot and no waiting list. It is here in Austin and you could be camping in it this weekend.

That is right at half, and it is before the installation labor, the freight and the sales tax you would pay on a new one. The camper by itself is still $12,999 on the DirtBox site today in this fitment, unchanged from what I paid. I have posted a photo of my DirtBox invoice showing the main line items, and I have the full set of invoices for a serious buyer.
CONDITION
One year old. One owner. Lightly used, and looked after the whole time. Everything on it works the way it should, and the aluminum, the seals, the gullwing doors, the lift mechanism and the mattress are all in nearly new shape.
I would be glad to do a live video walkthrough for any serious buyer, so you can see the condition and every part of it working before you make a trip out.
WHAT IT FITS
This is the DirtBox fitment for the 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 with the standard bed. DirtBox calls that bed the 6 foot 8 inch bed. GM publishes it as an 82 inch cargo box, and on a crew cab that is the 159 inch wheelbase truck, not the 172 inch long bed.
Please match on that. DirtBox builds a separate, different part for Ford, for Ram, and for the 2007 to 2019 Chevy and GMC HD trucks, so this one will not transfer to those. If you are not sure what bed you have, send me your year and model and I will help you check before either of us spends any time on it.
It is coming off a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali crew cab, which is where it has lived since new.
THE CAMPER ITSELF
Reinforced aluminum extrusion construction, TIG and laser welded, weather sealed. Gullwing doors on both sides with dimmable LED lighting, a full width rear door light, marker lights and an integrated third brake light. T-tracks on the interior walls, L-tracks on the roof and both sides, so gear mounts anywhere you want it.
The pop-up sleeping platform has a high density memory foam mattress and an insulated roof, which makes a real difference in Texas sun and on cold nights both. Lift the bed platform and you get a flat floor and standing room underneath for cooking, changing or working. Front sliding window lines up with the cab window. Folding ladder is included and stows underneath.
HOW THE POWER SYSTEM WORKS
The solar panel charges the EcoFlow, the EcoFlow keeps the Dometic battery topped up, and that battery runs the refrigerator. It works as one system rather than as a box of parts, and sorting out that integration is the part that eats your weekends if you build one of these yourself. It is done, it is wired, and it works.
THE REAR CAMERA, WHICH IS WORTH A WORD
With a canopy camper on the truck, your factory backup camera ends up looking straight into the camper and is useless. The Wolfbox G900 TriPro solves that. The rear camera is already mounted on the back of the DirtBox and it comes with the camper, so you get a proper rear view plus a front facing dash camera. It is a problem most people do not think about until the camper is on the truck.
AVAILABLE NOW, WHICH IS WORTH SOMETHING
DirtBox quotes a two to three week lead time on a new build once your order is confirmed, and then you still have to get on an installer's calendar. This one is built, equipped, sorted and sitting in Austin.
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
The camper clamps to the truck bed side rails. No drilling and no modification to the bed, which is how DirtBox designs it. There are four clamps holding the camper down, and the diesel heater mount clamps to the side rail as well. An installer takes the clamps off, lifts the camper with a forklift or a gantry, sets it on your truck and clamps it back down. The solar panel, the wiring and everything else lifts off as part of the shell.
I am glad to help coordinate removal and to work with whatever shop or installer you want to use, and DirtBox publishes a dealer and installer map that makes that easy to sort out. The cost of removal and installation would be yours.
WHY I AM SELLING
I moved to Austin and I am living in a more urban part of town now. The truck and camper together are simply not practical where I live, and I would rather this go to someone who will use it the way it is meant to be used. There is nothing wrong with it at all.
DETAILS
Available to view in the Austin area, and I am glad to meet somewhere convenient.
I can help arrange freight for a buyer outside driving distance. Shipping cost would be yours.
Happy to answer any question about fitment, the build, or how any of it works.
