It’s finally time to pass along our 2024 Scout Olympic truck camper - just in time for hunting and ski season!

Purchased new in January 2024, the Scout has been our primary adventure rig for the last 2.5 years. It’s been our home on the road for nearly 200 nights all across the western US, and Canada and has been upgraded to enable us to live and work from the road comfortably year round.

All that use means every system has been tested in real conditions including sub-zero ski trips, summer heat, and long forest roads. We’ve made numerous upgrades to improve the performance and long term livability in the camper, prioritizing reliable power, improved water capacity, and comfort for extended trips. This is a turnkey four-season overlanding rig that's ready to load and go.

Factory Options Included:

This key upgrade that makes this camper powerful enough for long off grid stays. The stock Goal Zero portable power station has been replaced with a permanently installed, professional-grade Victron energy system by Adventure Van Systems.

- 375W total solar - additional 200W flexible solar panel flush-mounted on roof (in addition to stock 175W panel)
- Victron MultiPlus II 12/2000 inverter/charger -- 2000W pure sine wave inverter with 50A shore power charging, upgraded from the base 1200W unit

- Victron Lynx Distributor with mega fuses
- 12V fuse block
- Multiple USB-A, USB-C (high power for 12V laptop charging), and 12V outlets throughout
- 15A shore power inlet with breaker box and AC distribution
- Three 120V AC outlets distributed through the camper

- VE.bus Smart Dongle for Bluetooth monitoring of entire system via Victron Connect app

- Iceco 65 Qt Fridge/Freezer -- dedicated 12V compressor fridge, runs efficiently on the Victron system
- Internally routed grey water tank -- Allows for 4 season water use in the camper, no freezing exterior grey lines
- Juniper Overland 7 Gallon Water Tank with new Dometic electric faucet and 3d printed mount -- a significant upgrade over the stock 4.9 gal jerry can
- Lagun swivel table -- sturdy, adjustable, has legs so it can still be used as a bed
- Aluminum medicine cabinet -- additional interior storage, great for toiletries and coffee supplies
- Exterior gear box -- takes the place of the license plate hanger, we’ve used it to store recovery gear
- Memory foam mattress topper & airflow mats -- improved sleep comfort on the stock cushion
- Neoprene tape applied to all exposed aluminum framing -- Helps limit condensation drip and cold bridging
- Custom cabinet modifications -- storage cubbies, large storage drawers under dinette, backing for electrical components greatly increase storage ability
- Thermal and Screen door covers included for winter and summer use
- Camper well maintained, always washed post trip. Preventative spot sealing maintenance done this summer.
Quality of life - Small things like trash can mounted and paper towel holder that make it easy to live in!

Condition Notes:
- Always garage kept when not on the road.
- Gel coat fiberglass exterior in excellent condition
- No water intrusion events
- All electrical, solar, inverter, and charging systems tested and functional. Professionally installed by Ken at AVS who can walk you through the system
We did travel with our dog and are trying to eradicate any remaining hairs for the new owner

Known issues:
- Rear window gas struts no longer hold the window open on their own. Window still latches securely closed and can be propped open. Functional, just needs new struts to be 100% new
- Pinholes in skylight shade covering (still functions well but some light comes through)
- Some minor surface rusting on exterior jack mounts
- Small scuffs here and there on the interior
