Our family just listed our custom-built Sprinter van on Outdoorsy, and we’re so excited to share the amazing experience with others! Meet Juniper, our 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170WB camper van—designed with comfort, function, and freedom in mind. It’s the ultimate road trip experience on wheels, with ample living space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy sleeping area that gives you everything you need to explore the open road in style. Whether you’re a couple or a solo traveler, Juniper is the perfect companion for adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. (And yes, we’re pet friendly with approval, so you can bring your furry co-pilot along!)
Inside, a comfortable queen-size bed with fresh linens, pillows, and blankets ensures a great night’s sleep no matter where you park. The fully equipped kitchen includes a built-in stove, sink, refrigerator, and all the cookware and dishes you need to prepare meals and coffee with ease—just like at home.
Juniper is built for off-grid living, powered by solar panels and a high-capacity inverter that keeps your essentials charged and running smoothly. Outlets and USB ports throughout the van make it easy to power up your phone, camera, or laptop wherever you are. A freshwater tank feeds the sink, and a no-flush toilet provides simple and convenient sanitation without the hassle of plumbing or blackwater tanks.
Climate control is handled with a roof ventilation fan and skylight for airflow and stargazing at night. For those warmer days, an optional portable AC unit is available as an add-on to keep things cool. The van also features Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth stereo for music and navigation. If you’re planning to work or stream while off-grid, you can add high-speed Starlink internet for reliable, unlimited connectivity wherever your travels take you.

Host rules
1. Renter agrees to return all window covers as received and agree to the replacement cost of $150.
2. Pets are only allowed in the vans if a Pet Fee has been paid. If pet hair is found and the Pet Fee has not been paid, a fee of $500 will apply.
3. Any windshield chips or cracks that spreads within 72 hours of return are subject to a fee of $1200.
4. Any windshield chips not filled by the customer will be billed out at a cost of $80 each.
5. I agree to cover all damage that is not previously recorded on the damage photos taken by host.
6. Any vehicle rented under this agreement may only be driven by authorized drivers.
7. Vans must be returned with the same fuel level at departure. Fuel will be billed at 1.5x cost.
8. Travel to the Burning Man Festival or driving on any salt flat is not permitted unless approved. Unapproved travel can result in a fine of $1500 and a cleaning fee of $500.
9. No Smoking: Smoking inside the van or within 20ft of the van is prohibited
10. Mileage Limits: The rental includes a set number of miles per day (150 miles). Additional miles will be charged at a rate of $0.50 per mile.
11. Cleaning: Please remove all garbage and leave the van in a swept like condition. If excessive cleaning is required, an additional cleaning fee will be applied.
12. Damage and Repairs: Report any damage immediately. Renters are responsible for covering the cost of any repairs for damage caused during the rental.
13. Towing: Towing is prohibited unless specifically approved by the host.
14. Late Returns: Late returns will result in additional hourly rate of $50/hour. Please ensure the van is returned on time to avoid extra charges.
15. Driving Area: The van is to remain within the designated driving area (U.S. only unless otherwise approved). International travel requires prior approval. No off-roading allowed and the van must be kept on paved or groomed gravel roads.
