That's the whole idea behind our 2020 Sunray 109 Sport. Most campers force you to buy a truck first. This one doesn't. At roughly 1,200 lbs curb weight and just over 13 feet long, it tows comfortably behind a Subaru Crosstrek or Outback, a RAV4 or CR-V, a 4Runner, a Tacoma, a Jeep, or any full-size truck. No diesel, no weight-distribution hitch, no brake controller drama, no white knuckles on the pass.

And because it's light, you barely feel it back there. You won't watch your fuel economy fall off a cliff, you won't crawl up I-70, and backing into a site is genuinely easy — it's short enough to park in a normal driveway when the trip's over.

Light doesn't mean flimsy, though. This one's been set up to go further than most: lifted suspension, all-terrain tires on black steelies, a spare on the tongue, and a roof rack up top. Point it at a forest road and go.

Inside, it's cedar-lined and warm — a real cabin feel rather than plastic RV panels. The bed converts to a bench for hanging out, there's a skylight vent with a fan overhead, LED dome lights, curtains for privacy, and rooftop A/C plus a furnace so you're comfortable whether it's an August desert night or a chilly morning at 10,000 feet.

The rear galley is where this thing really earns its keep. Flip up the hatch and you've got a stainless sink with running water, a two-burner propane cooktop, a microwave, a refrigerator, and cabinet storage for everything else. There's an exterior outlet, exterior speakers for camp tunes, city water and fresh water hookups, and it's solar-ready if you're bringing a panel to stretch your stay.

We include a full kitchen kit — pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and the basics — so you can pull into camp and start cooking without a Target run first.

Whether it's your first time camping, a weekend escape with your person, or a week chasing dirt roads off-grid, this trailer punches way above its size. Easy to tow, easy to set up, and a whole lot more comfortable than a tent.
