2018 Land Rover Discovery HSE — “Grover 2” | Lifted | Loaded | Adventure Ready

107,964 miles

Meet Grover 2, our 2018 Land Rover Discovery HSE.

This has been an exceptionally well cared-for family and adventure vehicle. It has taken us on ski trips, camping trips through the mountains and desert, hauled musical instruments and sound-bath equipment, and handled plenty of football and lacrosse practices along the way.

It has been used the way a Discovery was designed to be used — but it has not been abused or used for hardcore off-roading.

One of the biggest reasons I feel good about selling this vehicle is the maintenance. I have a trusted personal mechanic who knows the vehicle well, and we have been proactive about repairs and preventative maintenance. Some of the factory plastic cooling-system components were replaced with more durable aftermarket metal components to improve longevity.

We also added a few upgrades that make it especially well suited for Utah:

2-inch lift
Oversized all-terrain tires
Black wheels
Roof rack / ski rack
Land Rover Terrain Response / 4WD
Cold Climate Package
Hot Climate Package
Heated steering wheel
Heated and cooled front seats
Refrigerated center console
Full surround-camera system
Apple CarPlay
Android Auto
Navigation
Black leather interior
7-passenger / third-row seating
3.0L supercharged V6
8-speed automatic
Current mileage: 107,964

The combination of the lift, tires, Land Rover four-wheel-drive system and winter equipment makes this an excellent vehicle for Utah snow, canyon driving, ski trips and mountain travel.

At the same time, it is still a comfortable luxury SUV for daily driving, road trips and family use.

Grover 2 has basically been our ski rig, camping vehicle, family hauler and mobile music-equipment transporter all in one.

We have taken very good care of it and invested in keeping it maintained rather than simply driving it until something broke.

Selling because it is time for the next chapter — not because we stopped liking the vehicle.

Happy to answer questions about maintenance, upgrades and service history for serious buyers.
