## 🔋 Off-Grid Electrical System

The trailer is designed primarily around **efficient 12V operation**, allowing us to stay off-grid for extended periods without wasting power converting everything to 110V.

The system comfortably handles the fridge/freezer, MaxxFan, interior and exterior lighting, phones, tablets, speakers, camp lights and other everyday electronics.

That's really what separates this trailer from a build assembled from an option sheet. We've actually lived with these systems. Things that didn't work well were improved, storage evolved around the way we actually camp, and the setup has been refined over years of use.

## Why We're Selling

We've absolutely loved this trailer, but our camping style has evolved.

We're looking to camp **earlier in the spring, considerably later into the fall and into winter**, which means spending more time in sustained below-freezing temperatures. We're also finding that for the longer trips we want to take, we simply need **a little more interior space**.

The Hiker has been meticulously maintained and continuously upgraded over the years. It has proven itself from **-15°F winter camping to 90°F summer trips** and has never let us down.

We're not getting out of camping—we're going further with it and moving into something that better fits where our camping is headed.
