2007 Toyota Fj Cruiser with engine replaced in 2026.
6-speed manual. 4WD, locking rear differential with A-Track and tow package
Clean title, no accidents.

The FJ has a 2.5” Bilstein lift, ARB roof rack for a tent (I used it as a platform to make photographs). The roof rack is perfect for hauling 4x8 sheets of plywood or using as a deck. 285/70/17 BFG TKO2 tires.

Frame is solid and rust-free; it is an Arizona vehicle.

I purchased the FJ in 2009 with around 30,000 miles on it, and it now has 237,033 original miles.
The engine was replaced in May with a OEM G1R V6 239hp engine from a Toyota Tacoma with 81,000miles. The new engine has a 1 year warranty starting in May. I have the paperwork.

The original engine was replaced because a local shop made a mistake and installed the wrong oil filter and blew the original engine.

Everything around the engine, including the water pump, gaskets, belts, spark plugs, and sensors, are new. They also installed new Camshaft Sensors, knock sensors, Engine Timing Chain Kit, VVT solenoid, and Timing gears. $7200 in parts, not including labor. This engine is like new and will run for another 200,000+ miles.

Front brakes were serviced with new pads at the same time.

I also had the steering angle sensor and clock spring replaced, as they are known to set off the VSC lights on this era Fj Cruisers and Tacomas. The only code showing up is the 2nd squib airbag code. I had hoped the new angle sensor and clock spring would take care of it, but they did not.

The Fj runs great. The paint is rough from the Arizona Sun. I had planned on keeping the truck forever and was working on refurbishing the rest and was prepping to get it ready to be painted. This year I collected and replaced all the sun-damaged plastic silver parts with newer OEM parts, including power mirrors, door handles, grill, bumper ends, front and rear valances as well as new headlights. I also installed new Gas struts for the hood and rear Window and a new rear seat belt assembly. I had planned on having it painted but will leave that for the new owner. With a paint job, this will look like new.

Additional work in 2025 includes a new Catalytic converter (passenger-side bank) and new front axle assemblies.

This has been my daily driver for the past 17 years, and it has been well cared for. It has seen many camping trips but was never abused. Normal small dings from use, but nothing major.

It is a great vehicle!

I know I will regret selling this, but our family needs have changed.
