2006 Lexus gx 470

If you’re looking for a first generation GX that’s been loved and cared for this might be it!

2 owners - I have had it since June 2015 when it had just over 100k miles
ALL records since new; always a CA car - was sold new from Lexus Serramonte
Approximately $13k in maintenance under my ownership with every single receipt
All maintenance up to date, including timing belt and water pump done at 185k
The factory air suspension was getting iffy in 2025, so I replaced it all with the Old Man Emu system - professionally installed by Mud Rak in Sonoma for $4k; this included a mild 2” lift. I think you could fit a lot more wheel / tire at this point.
I believe this truck would make a great platform for an overland conversion if that’s your thing
Mechanically, I'd confidently give it a 9
Cosmetically, maybe a 7? No notable dents or anything but some scrapes here and there especially on the rear plastic crumple bumper cover; also for some reason this particular paint didn’t adhere well to the material of the side mirror housing. I repainted them with the factory correct color with a brush…and it doesn’t look great…at all. I didn’t really care.
The interior looks like a 20 year old SUV that’s been well used. Driver’s seat and armrest has wear and there are hairline cracks in the dash.
AC blows cold; heated seats work great.
Removable / stowable 3rd row seats
The Mark Levinson stereo still sounds good - I always just used a $20 Bluetooth adaptor. I think the DVD system still works ;-)
Recently de-hazed the headlight covers

First Gen GXs have an incredible unique look combined with a pretty bombproof drivetrain if they’re maintained. This one has been maintained.
