1. *Take throughout Central/ Southern California only* - No out-of-state trips and no Northern California. Please be aware of mileage overages and possible extra fees. "2001" vehicle (not 2025), so please feel free to call or chat with customer support as to what they offer for roadside assistance and towing, in case. Advise to have AAA as well.
2. Please return van in its original condition:
a) have the interior and exterior cleaned - you can take it to a self-service car wash, for example
b) Please leave out any bedding you used, so we can wash it.
c) Please bring your own towels (preferred).
3. Please refill gas to the level it was upon departure. * 91 Gas only *
Please note: The sink and back shower are not currently working. I have provided a foot-pump shower that is stored in the back. (Please keep the portable toilet in the back and do not use it.) You can use the portable sink that is in there - it's a foldable camping one - to wash dishes, catch water. You can use the sink to drain water if you are filling up water, brushing your teeth, etc. (It just is not flowing water currently.)
There is a bucket you can use for trash, "#1" bathroom perhaps, or compost. Please make sure it is fully cleaned out after with soap and water.
The key fob for the door locks is being finicky. Please don't rely on it to use it, as it seems you have to open the doors immediately after pressing the key fob; otherwise, they seem to be auto-locking. *Prefer to keep van unlocked. It's been fine this way when I've used it and slept in it. Recommend keeping valuables with you, such as your wallet, keys, phone, etc.
It is up-to-date with an oil change and oil filter and will do a multi-point inspection within 90 days of your rental.
This is an automatic transmission camper van with low mileage per year. Full records of service from the original dealer are on hand, where the previous owner bought it from in 2001. VW Manual, operating manual and receipts of work completed are available. Most of the components purchased were supplied by GoWesty. The Eurovan is 17’ Long, and 80’ High with top down. The 2001 Eurovan has a bigger engine with 201 HP compared to early ones with 140 HP.
Upgrades include:
Repainted VW White (2019)
Transmission cooling unit installed.
Transmission and engine mounts replaced.
Cameras front and rear (if needed, but prefer unplugged)
Privacy Tent for back gate
Interior Lights changed out to Led’s
Fridge Recondition in (2021) - fridge "turn on" instructions are printed inside the fridge door.
New Engine Battery (2022)
New Marine Auxiliary Battery (2024). Please do not drain it. No laptops / air mattress hookups / vaccum, etc.
The heat may not always work for the upfront (engine) air vents. The AC works and the propane heater/thermostat works for the cabin.
Reminders/ Tips:
1. Propane tank - turn on from outside for fridge and stove. Turn off before driving.
2. Gasoline - 91 Only please - please leave receipt(s) in van.
3. Please wash and clean the interior of the van as you found it. There is a brush provided to brush it out and a rag.
4. Empty all trash.
5. Clean kitchen products - pans, cutlery, glasses, etc.
6. No pets - no dog, cat, (due to hair, possible renter allgergies, etc)

13. Range top (stove) - use ventilation for air. Uses propane. *Propane always has to be OFF from the outside valve/knob when driving* Make sure to turn range knobs OFF when not in use.
14. Thermostat switch (heat) - make sure Propane is OFF on the outside knob. Turn the thermostat to above room temperature (this is an updated thermostat, be Gentle with a switch). Blower runs for 5 minutes. Turn the thermostat below room temperature, wait for 2 minutes until the blower stops, turn the propane knob ON and then turn the thermostat to the highest setting, and then adjust to the desired setting. There are vents near the floor. again, Turn OFF Propane from Outside when not in use/when driving.

Gasoline - it comes with 91 gas - it Only takes 91 gas. Please fill it to its starting point upon your return, otherwise the funds will be taken out of your security deposit. So if it was 1/2 full upon renting, please fill up 1/2 tank. You can take a photo to remember. I also upload a photo upon rental release.
