1998 Subaru Forester Off-Road Build

SubiWorks built FozWheeler -
I’m am the 2nd owner of this custom built lifted Forester. Most products listed are custom one off fabricated and/or SubiWorks off the shelf products.
To include:
-Roof-mounted cargo basket with mounting brackets for four auxiliary lights, spare tire, Hi-lift jack and fuel canisters.
- Front Engine Cage with Aluminum Skid plate
- Rock Sliders

The interior cargo area has a custom flat floor plate and a full-size spare tire secured with a SubiWorks Y-ratchet strap.

Suspension is custom built inverted Fox shocks with King springs on full STi suspension to include SubiWorks proprietary Monster Axles and STi front and rear hubs
Brakes are 2 pot WRX calipers w/STi rotors and STi rear brakes, rotors, and hubs

Engine is the 2.5 DOHC with custom fabricated Aluminum air intake. SubiWorks has been through the engine build with new timing belt, pistons, head gaskets, and ARP head studs.

Transmission was recently replacement with a good used unit that only had about 90k miles on it.

There’s more to mention I’m sure but that covers most of it. Also, comes with a lot of extra parts.

Vehicle is a blast to drive. I can do a little bit of everything. Road trip, over land adventure, commute, desert off road.. it can handle it.

I don’t recommend this to someone that doesn’t have a garage or at least some experience working on cars. Due to the nature of a lot of performance parts it does need maintenance and rebuilding on certain components that are that beyond that of a regular vehicle.

I’m selling mostly due to lost interest. Needs more time and attention than I’m able to give it. Therefore, it needs couple things done for it to be 100% again to include:
-Front Axle rebuild
-new front passenger window motor and regulator
-Exhaust needs redone to pass smog w/ new o2 sensors (check engine light is on due to this reason)

Currently runs and drives great with about 200k on the odometer.
