I purchased this 80 series 7 years ago when it had 135,000 miles. I’ve driven this cruiser all over the western U.S.
I’ve rebuilt the engine and transmission at 185,000 miles.
Headers, stainless exhaust, blue mod fan clutch, new water pump, new hoses, new radiator, plugs, wires, etc…. It’s all fkn brand new.
It will not pass emissions …
I deleted everything except the EVAP canister (which I reconditioned … good for another 33 years). It ain’t got no CATs, or any of that other bullshit that overheats the 6th cylinder..
Warn winch, 12k synthetic cable. ARB bumper. ARB medium springs all around.
I just rebuilt the front axle and installed brand new drive shafts, front and rear.
7 seater. Brand new spare tire… the other 4 are good for another 30,000 miles, at least.
$17k or trade for Wagon of equal value.
I’m a photographer and I travel extensively … 12mpg is killing me.
It’s reliable, bulletproof even.
My pride and joy, and I hate the thought of selling it (I hope it doesn’t).
