Legally imported into the United States under the 25-year rule. I’m the first registered owner in the U.S., and the vehicle has a clean U.S. title. It’s exempt from smog, making registration and insurance straightforward. I have all the legal import documents for the vehicle.
During my ownership, the vehicle has been garaged and driven very little, so it’s ready for a new home. I’ve taken good care of it, including oil changes, brake work, and new shocks.

The engine is the legendary 1HD-T 4.2L turbo diesel inline six, paired with a four speed automatic transmission, full time 4WD, a dual range transfer case, and a locking center differential. These engines are known for their durability and torque, often running for hundreds of thousands of miles.

With only 83,044 km (51,500 miles) on the engine, this truck has extremely low mileage. HDJ81 diesel models were never sold in the United States, making them especially sought after among Toyota enthusiasts.

The truck runs and drives extremely well, starts easily, and shifts smoothly. It has a custom welded lift, a front brush guard with auxiliary lights, a rear access ladder, aftermarket wheels, a side exit exhaust, a sunroof, a center console cooler box, automatic climate control, and other Japanese-market features.
