Selling my 1993 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4 with only 98,376 original miles.

This is a two-owner, family-owned Jeep. My uncle purchased it brand new in 1993, and I am the second owner. It has stayed in the family since new, so the history and mileage are known.

Powered by the legendary 4.0L inline-six with an automatic transmission and 4x4. It runs and drives good, and it has had several reliability, cooling, A/C, and off-road upgrades.

KNOWN ISSUE

It does have a minor oil leak. I believe it is coming from the oil-filter adapter O-ring, which is a common issue on the Jeep 4.0L. I haven’t repaired it and would rather disclose it upfront.

This is a 33-year-old Jeep, so it isn’t perfect and I’m not representing it as a restored vehicle. What it is, though, is a good-running, low-mileage XJ with known family history and a lot of useful upgrades already installed.

With under 100K original miles, two-owner family history, the 4.0L inline-six, R134a A/C conversion, upgraded cooling system, winch, bumpers and other off-road equipment, it’s a great platform for a trail rig, hunting Jeep, camping/overland vehicle or weekend 4x4.
