Up for sale: My 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80 It has 149,171 miles on the odometer (verified by CarFax). I just picked this rig up in San Jose, California in late May. My intention was to keep it forever, but a life change forces sale. I have a clean title in-hand in my name. Oregon tags are good through 6/2028.
I am asking $19,500. I am not in a big hurry, so I am fairly firm on the price (I have more into it than I am asking).
It has had no accidents. It’s in pretty darn good shape for a 35-year-old truck. It spent the majority of its life in San Luis Obispo, California where it was regularly serviced.
A video walk-around of the rig can be found here:
I just had a post-purchase inspection performed by Landcruiser NW (while in for the alternator). It came back with flying colors. Engine compression across all 6 cylinders is 155 psi. Only notes were that the steering box has a small leak and the front of the engine oil pan gasket also has a small leak.
All windows work. A/C works. Moonroof works. All lights work. Rear seat heat works. Nothing, as far as I can recall right now, is inoperable on this rig.
Recent maintenance and modifications (under my ownership):
- New alternator (work performed by Landcrusier NW)
- 4WD service (new gear oil in front and rear differentials and transfercase)
- Sony XAV-AX6000 stereo head unit installed
- New windshield gasket
- New OEM windshield wiper arms (front and rear) and wiper blades
