*MECHANIC SPECIAL* selling my 89 jeep Cherokee xj. Reason I’m selling it is because it needs a new transmission and I just can’t afford that right now.
Things replaced in the last 4 years:
-master cyclinder
-break pads and discs
-wheel hub bearings
-tires all 4
-rims
-rough country suspension lift kit
-starter
-alternator
-new battery (will likely need a jump)
-rebuilt entire break system (done by professional) cost me an arm and a leg 😐
This was my first car and it deserves a new home someone who has the time and money to fix it! My dad and I put our blood, sweat, and tears into this thing and she is a beast. Managed to drive her up to Oregon 4hrs straight no problem and more recently attempted to drive her back to Cali and that’s when my transmission blew so it will need a whole new transmission so you will need to tow it.
