Have you ever wondered what camping in a square-drop trailer is like? Here's your chance to give it a try. Happy Hiker is an almost brand new 2023 Hiker Trailer. It sleeps 2 on a full size mattress. This small trailer tows easily behind a Jeep or small truck. It has a 270 degree awning for plenty of shade in the summer or protection from the rain. With shore power, the AC unit will keep you plenty cool, even on the hottest of summer nights. Lights and USB ports work with your portable battery (Jackery, Bluetti, etc.) or plug into shore power. Forget the glamping, Little Blue will get you out in the woods, for some real peace and quiet.

What’s nearby

The trailer is a quick 20 minute drive from Lake Norman State Park. There are plenty of other camping areas in western Carolina as well. I recommend getting a site with electricity because the battery will only last a day or 2 without being connected to shore power.
