A very specialized, go-anywhere trailer to get out really see the backcountry. These Smittybilt Scout trailers are purpose-built and custom outfitted by Geared4Utah for the best overlanding experience possible. Yes, they are allowed off the pavement.
Avoid the overcrowded RV parks! Get out and explore the rest of Utah! Our trailers are Fully outfitted and geared for off-road, backcountry camping with all the amenities you need. Complete with overland rooftop tents and full customizations, our trailers allow you to take your camping to the most remote spots available. Call us to equip your next adventure. The Smittybilt SCOUT trailer features independent suspension with dual shocks for easy overlanding and a load capacity of 1763 lbs. With an inside compartment measuring a spacious 47" x 44" x 21", you’ll spend less time packing and all of your equipment will stay dry and safe. We took the off-road capability of the Scout and then custom outfitted to elliminate the chore of assbly at the campsite. The little things that matter, are the things that make this trailer truly exceptional:
Custom rear spare tire carrier and jack mounts for better weight distribution
Lock and Roll Hitch system (rattle-free off-road hitch)
An onboard 12v pressurized water system (20 gal Capacity) with On-demand water heater, fully plumbed and ready to run
Aux shower and dish washing
Onboard Propane with fully plumbed 2 burner cooktop, on a full sized kitchen slide with sink.
200 Ahr. LiFePo4 Battery setup with 220-watt solar for complete off grid performance. (both Fixed and portable panels)
30amp DC to DC charger for power management, all compatments feature door actuated lighting, USB ports to charge accessories
Full tent power, including power tent lift for better function of the available annex
