Stewart and Stevenson M1078 – Civilianized
1998 Stewart and Stevenson M1078 with 1460 original miles.
This ex-military vehicle has spent its life sitting and has been completely gone through and modified for civilian use.
Over 500 parts have been replaced or added for modification.
This 4WD monster is powered by a Cat 3116 engine and Allison 7 speed hi-lo transmission
This truck is a new 27-year-old truck by any standards.
A file of all the parts and services that have gone into it are available on request.
It is located in Redmond Oregon close to the airport for an easy quick look and test drive.
It was built with the “overland” crew in mind but can easily accept 10,000 lbs of any cargo and pull a sizeable trailer (Military trailer M1082 recommended). Whatever the challenge, it’s up to the task.
Check out the pictures and request any information, I have many files and more photos relating to the build.
All manuals and support info included
It has been licensed and registered in the State of Oregon so transferring it to your state will be a breeze.
