This has been a project for the last 12 years. The person who buys this will need to be somebody that is expecting a project as it will require some tweaking to get everything up to par if you plan on using it as your daily driver.
The Jeep does run however it has quite a few things that I planned on doing and the new owner would likely want to improve. For example:
- The smog equipment has been removed, you can register as an antique with collectors insurance.
- Some Exhaust Leaks, I was planning on going back to manifolds which I have a set of and will include.
- Emergency Brake Needs Repair, it was an aftermarket kit.
- Small coolant leak, I may be able to repair this before sell.
- Transfer case leaks some.
- AC compressor not currently installed. I went to a v-belt with tensioners from a 90's ford truck and the compressor is in the way of the valve covers. Will require some custom fabrication to re-install the AC compressor as well as some new hoses.
- When I went to the Manual transmission I removed the old gear shift lever on the column and now the key doesn't come out it has been like this for years.
- One of the doors does not lock, I have a replacement new latch but have not installed it yet.
- Body damage drivers rear quarter panel and tail-light area. A spot on the hood that was bondo'd has popped as well as some other dings and blemishes. I will include paint I have about 2/3 of gallon or so left and I will include it. It is Audi Ipanema brown by Spies Hecker and was very expensive.
-Fuel tank leaks some from top when filled up to 100%
- Window washer pump needs replaced I have a new one which I will include just have not installed it yet.
I hate to say how much I have put into this over the years but I can say you will be getting this for a fraction of what has been spent.
