The Appalachia is Vander's most capable four-season van — a fully equipped campervan built for comfort, designed for the Mid-Atlantic's mountains, festivals, and everything in between. Great option for music festivals, like DelFest, Red Wing Roots, and Seven Stars! If you want the full van life experience without any compromises, this is it.
Based in Alexandria, VA — minutes from Reagan National and the Huntington Metro — the Appalachia puts Shenandoah, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Red Wing Roots in Mt Solon, and the entire East Coast within easy reach. It's equally at home at a mountain campsite in October and a music festival campground in May.
Sleep: The couch folds into a large, comfortable bed with 5-inch thick cushions. Privacy blackout curtains and dimmable lighting make it a genuine bedroom at the end of a long day.
Kitchen: Induction cooktop (no propane needed), 12V compressor refrigerator, sink with 10 gallons of fresh water, and full cookware, dinnerware, and utensils provided. 5 gallons of
Power: 200Ah lithium battery, 900W of rooftop solar, 2000W inverter with 120V outlets, alternator charging while driving, and shore power capability. Your devices, speaker, and camera stay charged all trip.
Climate: Espar furnace for genuine four-season heat. EcoFlow Wave portable air conditioning for summer festivals and beach trips. This van is comfortable year-round. The living space is fully insulated to keep your air at the temperature you want.
Storage: 5 large crate drawers, additional under-counter drawers, plus cubbies — plenty of room for a week or more of gear.
