Our rental fleet was created to offer the full Escapod experience, which allows you to tow your own teardrop trailer. You’ll get to experience what it means to #TowAndBehold. Since we offer unlimited mileage, you can take your Escapod wherever your heart desires so you’re truly #FreeToRoam!
Escapod teardrop trailers are available to rent from our shop in Coalville, Utah – a mere 20 minutes east of the fabled town of Park City and 50 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport. Coalville is central to many iconic locations – less than 5 hours from Moab, Zion, and Jackson Hole!
We equip each rental with the following: bedding (sheets, 2 pillows, Rumpl 2P blanket), cooking & dining essentials (dishes, utensils, cups, pots & pans, and even a french press), and a Yeti Tundra 75L cooler to keep beverages & perishables cold. Our rental teardrop trailers come fully-insulated, with off-road capable suspension, a stargazer window, awning, stove & propane tank, solar panel, and a 21-gallon water tank to keep you clean & hydrated throughout your travels.
* Rooftop tent is an upgrade that we offer for $50/night so you can sleep an additional 2 adults or 3 children during your trip.
* Pickup time is 1 pm at our shop. If you need to pick up earlier we offer pickup as early as 10am for an additional $50 (one-time fee).
* Please come equipped with a 2" ball hitch mounted to your vehicle at approximately 25" off the ground. We supply everything trailer-side, but not customer vehicle-side.
* Standard wiring connection is 7-round

- Reservation deposit (20% of full trip cost) is non-refundable - 80% refund of full trip cost up to 7 days before pickup, then 50% refund of full trip cost within 7 days of pickup - If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled more than seven days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 80% of the full rental amount will be issued - If canceled less than seven days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 50% of the total rental amount will be issued -Weather can cause a trip to be canceled -If weather causes a cancelation of the rental, there will be a full refund issued.
Host rules
We craft each Escapod by hand and appreciate your respectful use of our trailers.
Please keep these rules in mind when renting with us:
- No smoking.
- Use caution when closing rear hatch (don't let it slam).
- Don't leave tall objects on countertops when closing hatch.
- Use two people to set up awning & don't pull down on stabilizing arms during setup.
- Remove shoes before climbing in cabin.
- Pets are allowed, but NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN TRAILER AT ANY TIME.
Upon return:
- Clean all dishes, utensils, glasses, pots & pans.
- Empty cooler & drain water.
- Strip sheets off mattress & leave inside cabin.
- Remove the coupler (attachment to your ball hitch) and place inside the trailer.
- Place the adjustable ball hitch or hitch extender (if rented from us) in the cabin.
- Lock latch from the outside and leave keys inside trailer in the key drop box next to the back door of the building, under the covered area.
-If we feel that the trailer has been returned in less the acceptable condition, we reserve the right to use a portion of your security deposit as an extra cleaning fee.
