This Winnebago Solis is a comfortable, easy to drive camper van that's perfect for coastal road trips, weekend getaways, and first-time van campers exploring California. Whether you're heading to Anza-Borrego, Joshua Tree, Big Sur, or one of the great state beach campgrounds along the coast, the Solis is built for it. Built on the Ram ProMaster chassis, it drives more like a large SUV than an RV, making it approachable even if you're new to camper vans.
Inside, you'll find a clean, thoughtfully laid-out space designed for simplicity and flexibility. The van comfortably sleeps up to four with a rear bed, pop-top sleeping area, and an optional Luno Life air mattress that fits the front cab, expanding the sleeping capacity to five. A great option for couples, small families, or friends traveling together.
Sleeping areas are set up with high-quality RV-specific bedding from Beddy's, including integrated sheets and comforter sets for a cozy, no-fuss sleeping experience.
Power is supplied by the onboard battery and inverter system (no traditional generator), which charges while driving, via rooftop solar, and when plugged into shore power. The van also includes a Truma Combi hot water system, indoor and outdoor showers, a two-burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, and a Thetford cassette toilet.
A note on the cassette toilet: Instead of a traditional black tank, the Solis uses a removable 5-gallon cassette that's easy to use and empty. You're welcome to empty it yourself before return at no charge, or add our optional Dump & Sanitize Service at checkout and we'll handle it for you. Most renters add this and skip the chore. Either way, please use external bathrooms when possible during your trip; it keeps the van fresh and extends the time between emptying.
