Joshua Tree National Park: Known for its fascinating Joshua trees and rock formations, offering great hiking and rock climbing experiences.

Arizona

Grand Canyon National Park: One of the world’s most famous natural wonders, offering incredible views, hiking, and the unique experience of seeing the Colorado River carve through ancient rock.

Saguaro National Park: Home to the nation’s largest cacti, Saguaro, and offering beautiful desert landscapes.

Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend near Page: These are stunning natural formations, but they require guided tours for access.

Monument Valley: Located on the Arizona-Utah border, this iconic landscape features dramatic rock formations and is rich in Native American history.

• Please treat the van as if it were your own. That includes light upkeep while on the road—like knocking off excess dirt or mud if you’ve been off-grid, and wiping down the windshield if it’s covered in bugs (especially during long drives in hot weather).

Important: This is a diesel vehicle. Do not use regular gas. The diesel fill is located inside the driver’s door. The van also uses DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). We top it off between trips, but for longer journeys you may see a DEF warning around 50%. If so, please refill—it’s available at most gas stations (look for the blue DEF cap under the hood). Cost is usually under $20.

• Before returning the van, please remove all food—dry or refrigerated—to keep it fresh for the next guest. We fully sanitize the van between rentals, but leftover perishables can spoil.

• Toilet policy: If you use the portable toilet, we ask that you clean and empty it prior to return. A $300 fee applies if it’s returned used and uncleaned.

• The van drives great and is dialed in for your adventure. Thanks for helping us keep it in top shape—and have a fantastic trip!

*** We almost always flexible with early pick up and late returns, and do not charge a fee. In case flights/times etc vary based on guests schedules and we are not able to coordinate an in-person hand off, we provide a batch of user videos for all guests to reference via text. When leaving the van for a guest when we won’t meet in person, van will be street parked with keys in the dashboard compartment over the steering wheel. Guests can leave the van in the same place, with keys in the same spot, on late returns etc.
