Welcome to KOA KEA (Hawaiian for “White Coral”)—your fantastic home away from home. She’s a camper conversion van ready to take you on an incredible journey through Kauai.
KOA KEA is a Beauty with many amenities.
She features a large queen-size bed on a platform, with plenty of storage underneath.
Dark Tinted Windows, Custom cabinets surround you all around up top and a custom kitchen with bamboo cabinets, drawers, and butcher block countertop. Built-in stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet as well as propane stove, built right into the countertop.
We also have a high voltage generator for all of your plug-in needs, coffee pot, overhead lights, inverter for charging, as well as Bluetooth speaker.
Add to that our incredible list of camping gear, linens, towels, bedding, cookware, dish soap, etc and you have all you need on your journey around the world’s most beautiful island.
We as your hosts have been in business since 2018, and with our seven years of experience, giving campers an incredible insight, guidance and experience, we are here to make your itinerary perfect with all of the touches that you need for unforgettable memories for a lifetime to come.
Note: drivers will be asked to provide their own insurance coverage as outdoorsy is only “excess coverage.”

Exceptional help and communication. Stephanie provided activity and food recommendations, assisted with troubleshooting, and maintained smooth, professional communication. She was described as easy to work with and thoughtful, even supplying coffee.
Efficient driving, comfortable living. The van delivers great gas mileage and features a very comfortable bed. It's well-equipped with a kitchen, stovetop, sink, power bank, excellent driving AC, and ample storage, making it ideal for island exploration.

We highly recommend Kumu Camp, which is a private camper you can sleep in the vehicle. They provide hot showers, hot coffee in the morning and Wi-Fi and all of the kitchen amenities. Plus, there is beachfront camping.
Other great campsites include Anini beach, Anahola & Waimea State Park.
Fantastic activities include hiking the KALALAU trail, Napali coast boat rides, zip lining in Koloa & And many more great activities we can provide with your confirmed booking

• NOTE THAT SLEEPING INSIDE A VEHICLE IS PROHIBITED ON PUBLIC ROADS AND GOVERNMENT PROPERTY IN THE STATE OF HAWAII (NOT JUST KAUAI).
• Therefore we HIGHLY RECOMMEND KUMU CAMP which is a PRIVATE CAMPGROUND where sleeping in the van is LEGAL.
• We PROVIDE A TENT if you need it should you choose to camp on other government campsites.
• No smoking whatsoever of any kind in the van
• NO TRIPS TO POLIHALE
• NO OFF ROADING whatsoever
• TO KEEP YOUR HOME CLEAN— PLS NO SHOES IN VAN AS WE HAVE RUGS & BOX FOR YOUR SHOES
• NO DRINKING & DRIVING
• CHECK IN IS AT 3pm or LATER.
