This camper is perfect for those who are looking for a very unique van with essentially everything you need in a trip, whether it’s long or short. Cruise the island in this local vibes ride! See all the details below for a list of items/amenities that Da Big Kahuna offers!
Features a high ceiling so you can walk freely in the expandable living space (a person 6 feet tall can stand upright inside), a queen bed, 200w solar power with 100Ah lithium battery and 40A alternator charging so you never have to worry about being without power even on cloudy days, sink with 30 gallon fresh water tank, fridge with freezer, maximum ventilation (key to enjoying island climate) with 12 openable windows 2 roof fans and 2 movable plug in fans, portable propane stove, all basic cookware and dishes, outdoor shower, beach towels and more. All windows have sliding or removable curtains for additional privacy and security. Tons of additional gear for rent including 2 person inflatable kayak, inflatable SUP (optionally can be equipped as a wind SUP with sail etc.), snorkeling gear including fins masks diving buoy etc., body boards, surf boards, camping chairs, coolers and more.
Please note The Big Kahuna is a BIG guy (20 feet in length, 11 feet in height). Drive with caution, and beware of the clearance!
Important! Please note that pickup will be in Wahiawa (~25 minutes from the airport) or if you're already heading north you can pick up in Waialua. Pick up and drop off at the airport is available for an additional fee, please see Add-ons for delivery fee.

Flexible, responsive and supportive. William is highly responsive, accommodating last-minute changes and logistics. He provides detailed guidance, including e-guides, and goes above and beyond, solving problems like fixing a wiper or offering alternative stays.
Driving requires an adjustment. This older, large van is spacious (6'2" standing room) and well-equipped for camping with comfortable sleeping, fans, power, water, and a fridge. However, it drives slowly, takes time to get used to, and has minor leaks, making it better for camping than for driving.
