Host rules
Due to this van not having 4WD, you are not permitted to take it to Makalawena Beach, Green Sands Beach, Waipio Valley, or past the Visitor Center at Mauna Kea. You may hire local services to take you to these locations in a 4x4 vehicle. The van is equipped with a GPS that will alert us if it is in any of these locations, at which point you will be fined $1,000 in addition to the cost of any damage to the vehicle (which there undoubtedly will be, assuming you are even able to get the van back to the road, which you will not).
