Leave the crowds behind and find the perfect secret campsite with “BumbleBee”, a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4x4 equipped for multi-day overland adventures and designed to go where traditional RVs cannot.
The compact size and automatic transmission make it just as easy to drive as your daily commuter. The hardest part of driving BumbleBee will be graciously accepting all the compliments on how cool Your Jeep is!

This Jeep was built for exploration and discovery, not to sit idle in a crowded, full-service campground, so we’ve included unlimited miles so you can have unlimited smiles.

The low-profile premium hard-shell aluminum rooftop tent can be set up or taken down in minutes and is spacious enough for two adults plus a young child.

Say goodbye to soggy sandwiches and bagged ice with the built-in Dometic CFX3 46L refrigerator included at no extra cost.

To help you create delicious backcountry cuisine, this Jeep is fully equipped with cooking and dining necessities including a 2-burner stove/grill, folding table, two camp chairs, and an assortment of utensils, cutlery, and cookware. All you need to provide is an appetite and your ingredients of choice.

The best views usually have the worst cell service, so we offer optional Starlink Satellite WiFi so you can stay in touch with loved ones and make your friends jealous. USB, 12v, and 110v charging ports are also included to keep all your devices topped off.

The factory equipped Rubicon off-road package comes standard with larger tires, lower gears, and locking differentials. Although this Jeep is extremely capable off the pavement, be sure to stick to approved Forest Service or BLM roads that are within your driving abilities, and always remember to practice the Tread Lightly principles: Travel Responsibly | Respect the Rights of Others | Educate Yourself | Avoid Sensitive Areas | Do Your Part

Other things to note:

Due to personal preferences in bedding and the wide variety of potential climates depending on the location and season of your adventure, you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc. We recommend researching the weather forecast for your trip and pack accordingly. Too much is always better than not enough. You’ll also need climate appropriate clothing, food, bottled water, and any activity specific equipment (sunscreen, insect repellent, headlamp, etc).

Discounts are available for active-duty military, first responders, and teachers with I.D. verification. Please contact us prior to booking for more details.

What’s nearby

Recommended Adventures:

BumbleBee is perfect for multi-day off highway expeditions like the iconic Mojave Trail which is located only 3 hours from the San Diego airport. Other nearby adventures include Anza Borrego State Park, Joshua Tree National Park, and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Host rules

Adventure begins where the pavement ends, so we fully expect the Jeep to get dirty, and that’s okay, but to avoid additional charges please steer clear of anything that could result in three dimensional modifications such as rock crawling. When traveling off-road, the Jeep must remain on designated Forest Service or BLM routes. OHV open riding areas are not authorized.

Furry friends are welcome, but please let us know when booking so we can include some special items just for them.

Out of respect for all our non-smoking guests, we kindly ask that you not smoke or vape inside the tent or Jeep, and that you completely extinguish all cigarettes to prevent forest fires.

We love Mexico and Canada, but unfortunately our insurance provider does not, so the Jeep must remain within the contiguous United States of America.

Although Jeeps are commonly associated with open air driving, please do not remove the doors or roof panels. To prevent damage to the roof top tent, please do not stand, sit, or walk on top of the tent when in the closed position.

The Jeep is fully loaded for your adventure, which doesn't leave much weight capacity for towing. For safety reasons, towing is not allowed. Outdoorsy offers plenty of full-size truck camper options if your adventure requires a trailer.

Jeep recommends Premium fuel (91 Octane) for best performance and reliability in the Wrangler 2.0 Turbo engine. That's what we use, and we kindly ask our guests to do the same.
