We're excited to introduce our 2014 Mercedes 170 Sprinter "Westie." Originally, we planned to live in it, but then we found out we were expecting a baby, which changed our plans. This van is loaded with features that offer ample space, modern technology, and comfort.
The queen-sized bed is modular and can be converted into a U-shaped bench with a Lagun table. In the front, there's a bench with storage that can be transformed into a full bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with butcher block countertops, a farmhouse sink that provides 32 gallons of filtered and heated water, a stainless steel Isotherm Cruise with ample space, a cooktop, utensils, and dishes. You also get a Nature Head composting toilet, which is fanned and has no odors, and an outside shower to rinse off.

Power-wise, Westie is built to last. It has 412Ah LiFePO4 Lithium power with 600 watts of solar power on the roof. It also has alternator charging while driving and a shore power option for constant power, all powered by Victron Energy.

The van has outlets, 12V, USB A, and C everywhere to keep you powered. Westie also comes with internet (if available during rental), a WiFi6 router, and a WeBoost to stay connected even in remote places.

Easy to drive, very comfortable. The Sprinter is noted as easy to drive, spacious, and very comfortable, especially the beds. It's well-designed, includes modern amenities like good heating and WiFi, and has ample power and water for off-grid use, often not requiring RV hookups.
