Imagine sitting next to a warm crackling fire parked next to one of Alaska's 3 million lakes taking in the vast beauty that this wonderful state has to offer. My wife and I are lifelong Alaskans and are always seeking the outdoors that is nearly limitless just out our front door. Two lifetimes of exploration allows us to bring to the table a distilled amount of advice and suggestions we give all our guests to ensure an amazing vacation. From provided coffee, to the electric oven, we have everything you need to make your Alaskan experience not just great, but incredible.
I have a clean and well maintained Toyota Tacoma, modified for Alaskan overland adventures. From the outside, it just looks like a tough Toyota. As you look closer, you will notice a custom roof rack, 4 person roof tent, custom overlander Smartcap, and a few upgrades to the toy to “Alaskanize” it.
The interior seats 4 people comfortably, and the bed provides copious amounts of storage out of the weather for two or more people.
This overland truck comes complete with setups for four people:
-camping table and chairs
-map book of the state
-2 butane camp stoves
-pots and pans
-12V oven
-coffee press and coffee prep equipment
-dishware, silverware, kitchenware
-large collapsible bowl for washing up
-towels for camp showering
-5 gallon water bladder
-Sheets, 2 thick blankets, and pillows
-4 person rooftop tent
-awning
-Bear spray

Bring your kids, as there are seat belts for 5, but sleeping arrangements for two adults and two kids (approximately. The bed is slightly bigger than a king.
Get ready for an epic Alaskan adventure with this truck! wake up next to a lake and have hot coffee while watching the swans and loons through the gentle mist while the sun warms the day. Or wake up high in a mountain pass watching the sheep and goats jump along steep cliffs with snow still peeking out from the tops of the mountains. Choose your adventure! If you get the basic insurance, you are required to get the roadside assistance. If you get one of the two premium insurances, you are not required to get roadside assistance, as it comes with!!
Vehicle can be picked up after 4 pm on day of rental, and must be dropped off before 11 am on day of drop off.
This truck gets approximately 17 MPG.

- Cleaning fee$125This covers the cost of consumables, and pays for the cost of a professional to clean and sterilize the vehicle top to bottom.
- Fuel Sircharge$10If fuel tank is not completely full, $10.00 per gallon will be charged to fully fuel vehicle.
- Late dropoff$50This is for a pre arraigned late dropoff of 4 hours. Many times this cannot be accomplished as the truck needs to be turned over for the next customer. The new dropoff time must be arraigned ahead o
- Early pickup$50This is for early pickup of the vehicle of 4 hours per fee. For example, if you want the vehicle 8 hours early, it will be $100 fee. This can not always be accomplished as the vehicle needs to be tur
- Additional Cleaning Fee/ Late fee$70This fee will apply when the vehicle is exceptionally dirty either inside, or out. I charge what my cleaner charges me, which is $70 per half hour. Additionally, if you are more that 30 minutes late

Host rules
No driving on unimproved, remote roads. This includes the Denali Highway, the Haul Road, the road to Manley, McCarthy, etc.
No smoking or vaping of anything inside the vehicle (any additional smells, stains or extra cleaning will incur an additional cleaning fee taken out of the deposit).
No fish or game of any kind is allowed inside the vehicle. If requested, I will provide you with a cooler to go on the roof.
Failure to adhere to these rules will result in the loss of the full deposit.
