Because Gertrude is 1993 van, it’s important to keep this gem closer to home. While we complete a thorough inspection prior to each trip to ensure she is safe and reliable; if any breakdown did occur (which is unlikely), we can more quickly attend to you and to this classic Westfalia. Also, there’s so much to explore at our 3rd shore (Great Lakes) and the Midwest – enjoy what we have in our own backyard!

Delivery available! I tow my VW Golf all4down behind these vans and deliver/pick them up at customer's home or preferred airport. Fee is generally ~$1/mile.

Short on vacation time? One-Way rental options are also available. We have had many renters who fly into Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) and make the tour around Lake Michigan flying back out of Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) or Chicago (ORD) (MDW) for $600. Traveling the opposite way is always an option as well, of course ;)
