SLO Ford Transit (High Roof)

Our family was tired of tent camping and got this van in summer 2024. We have Loved camping in a hard shell that is rain-, wind-, light-, and noise-proof. American VanWorks did the floors, walls, ceiling, fan, lights, and safari rack. I built the wood shelving, sink, and bed frames myself.

Features:
- Sleeps 2 adults (below) and 2 children (in the loft) under comfy duvets so everyone will get a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring.
- Plenty of Storage: the safari rack on top and central aisle inside the van easily accommodate large items like surfboards or kayaks.
- Faucet and sink allow for washing dishes or storing wet items after a long day of fun.
- Cassette toilet for those times when you're off the grid but need a little convenience.
- Electrical Power: Two battery power stations ensure you’ve got the juice to power your devices, charge electronics, or keep things running smoothly.
- Refrigerator/freezer keeps things cold and saves you from buying ice.
- Driver Tech: equipped with a back-up camera, touch screen, and Apple CarPlay to help you navigate and safely get access to the best of your iPhone while you’re on the road
- High Roof is a game-changer and provides complete vertical clearance for me (6’3”)
