Classsic Vw pop top that fits into a normal parking space ( for occasional Urban Camping) as well as true camp grounds! This vehicle was brought over from Germany and I am the third owner for 20 years now. The engine has been rebuilt and replaced one time. It does have a propane stove and tank but I have never used it because my VW mechanic strongly suggests ALL Cooking be completed outside the van on the small grill we provide. It does have ice storage and a small cooler. The heater and AC have not been used but we do provide linens, blankets and sleeping bags which are washed following each rental
In essence it is air cooled and does well Near the ocean but can go into the desert (inland) but best to drive during the night and early morning. It does go 85mph when you need a little extra push to get past a big rig but cruises comfortably at 65-75 mph.
