Description
Our cute little home on wheels, Thor Motor Coach Tellaro in which we did numerous camping/glamping trips along with an adventurous Cross country road round trip from NJ to Seattle. It’s now available to be rented through Outdoorsy.
2021 Thor Motor Coach Tellaro is powered by the RAM® Promaster 3500 XT window van chassis, brought to life by a 3.6 liter V-6 with 280 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque and is approximately 20 feet 11 inches in length. The Tellaro was made for the outdoor adventure with the bike racks able to fit two adult bikes & easily fold up out of the way, and a patio awning with reinforced leg supports. This amazing new motor home also includes a sliding screen door at the entryway, multi-media touchscreen dash radio, backup monitor, leatherette swivel captain’s chairs, keyless entry system, aluminum wheels, euro-style cabinet doors, premium window shades, large skylight, living area TV with outdoor viewing capability, WiFi 4G Winegard Connect (on request internet), Re(Li)able Battery System is powered by Mastervolt®, solar panel with solar charge controller, holding tanks with heat pads and so much more. This adventure-ready RV features the Power Pack system which includes 2 Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries replacing the AGM batteries and traditional generator, a 3000-watt inverter, 280-amp under hood alternator with an auto-start function, and best of all this system seamlessly connects with the 190-watts of solar charging! The Re(Li)able Battery System is powered by Mastervolt®, a worldwide battery, and inverter technology leader. Those looking to dry camp will enjoy this feature, as lithium batteries hold more charge than other batteries. This optional system also eliminates the need for a traditional generator, allowing adventurers to live off the grid longer.
From November 15th until warmer weather returns to us. When you receive the RV it will be winterized - meaning the water will be removed from the coach - this will prevent burst water lines, etc during freezing temperatures. If the RV is unattended, meaning heat is not pumping through the RV or tank heaters (if equipped) are not in operation then you should never have water in the RV because you don't want to have an issue with burst pipes. If you are living/traveling in the RV and have warmth in the RV 24/7 then you can fill the RV with water. To do this, just follow the videos we have sent you on how to fill your RV with water. TIP: Once you introduce water, and if you are in a colder climate, please put your tank heaters on (if equipped) and ensure that you run heat through the RV 24/7 at a minimum of 40 degrees (even if you are not occupying the RV)
As you introduce water to the RV for the first time, the faucets, etc will 'splutter" until a steady stream of water comes out. When you return the RV back to us, we will winterize it (remove all the water from the system for you)
Winterizing your RV’s plumbing is incredibly important, especially if your RV will spend any time at all stored/unoccupied in sub-freezing temperatures over the winter months. Frozen water lines can quickly lead to burst water pipes, a broken water pump, and a devastating amount of damage to the RV itself. Proper RV winterizing of your plumbing system is something almost all RVers need to know how to do at one point or another.
