Description
Airstream Interstate is with extended luggage area (unusual for Class B RV), and yes, this is available to rent during the winter months, but you won't water.
Why I love driving this Class B RV
1) Easy and Fantastic to drive, even for my wife. Pretty much like driving an extended van.
2) No-smell proofed: Wife is very sensitive to smells, and she’s says it has no unpleasant odors.
3) Quiet to drive: There are lots of doors and things in an RV that cause noise. Unless you are driving on I80 in Iowa, this RV is quiet. This means you can hear music, conversation, or the TV.
4) Well maintained: I spend $ and time keeping this RV mechanically maintained, operational, and looking nice.
5) Quad seating: The four, front quad seats, are very comfortable and great on my back (I have a bad back). And the turn left or right.
6) Lane assist: this notifies you when drifting out of the lane.
7) Collision prevention system: this monitors your blind spot, and notifies if you want to change lanes and there is a car/truck in the lane.
8) Parking: Freedom and convenience to park this RV in car parking spots at restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations, shopping centers, etc..during the road trip.
9) Electronic shifting option: If you want to manually shift, easy by just tapping on the shifter.
10) 80 mph: Handles great and drives well at 80mph, and in the wind.
11) MPG: Gets around 15mpg to 18mpg, depending on your speed and load.
Why this RV is great to road trip / camping with.
1) Great visibility: large windows at all seats, providing great view of the landscape while driving.
2) Everyone faces forward and not staring at one another; as you do if sitting at a dinette.
3) Lots of storage; the back storage for duffle bags, suitcases, you name it, is great for reducing clutter in the main galley/cabin area. Additionally, lots of storage in the upper cabinets.
4) Bathroom, sink, frig and microwave.
5) 9 seatbelts. You may legally load up to 9 passengers.
6) 120Vac outlets; keep computer and other devices charged.
7) Stereo connects to smart phone via Bluetooth and USB connection; and Apple Play.
8) Two TVs with blueray DVD player.
9) Automatic, low side step at sliding door for easy in and out of RV
Why this RV is nice to camp with.
1) Queen size bed (easily sleeps two).
2) Generator with 80lbs LP Tank. Having a generator as backup power (if needed) is a great comfort, and the 80 lbs LP tank is large for an RV of this size. This means you have a ton of gas to run the gen set, stove or furnace for a long time.
3) Use it like a van to run errands or drive to other places of interest.
