Meet Helmut, the Van!

Helmut is located approximately 20 minutes from the Asheville Airport and a 10 minute drive from downtown. We are located in the mountains of Western North Carolina which grants easy access to multiple national forests, water falls and hiking.

Pet-friendly 2021 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, this van was thoughtfully built by the two owners. The Sprinter comes with dimmable lights, water pump, fan, 55L fridge, AC/DC/USB interior plugs, propane stove, and includes a 5 gallon running water system. This Sprinter was built to be lived out of, not in. It has a cozy interior but can feel small if you are stuck inside due to rain. The bed and mattress have been custom built to comfortably fit two people, but if you are over 5'10 your feet may hang off a bit if you are laying straight. Additionally, to get on to the bed you do need to step up onto the dining room bench and climb on in.

The entire cabinets allow for plenty of space for long weekend gateways with food and clothing storage. The dinette works comfortably for one person to work from a laptop while being inside. There is ample storage underneath the bed for all your outdoor activities or anything else you need to bring along your trip. The van will come with two camp chairs and a collapsable table for you to post up outside along with other small items to make you feel comfortable (silverware, condiments, plates, mini coffee maker etc.)

When renting out Helmut, the Van, keep in mind he was designed to be nimble on the road which means the interior is small but comfortable.
