You just need your own tow bar and magnetic tow lights. I pulled it behind my motorhome to Yellowstone last year and it worked great. The family had a great time using it to get around the park.

Runs and drives well and has been very reliable for me. It drives like an old Jeep on 31" mud tires :-) It does seep a little oil like most older Jeeps, but there are no major leaks.

The engine was rebuilt by a previous owner with a Mopar rebuilt 4.0L. I have the engine plate with the serial number to verify it.

The transfer case was fully rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago. The original chain was stretched and 4x4 was not working, so it was rebuilt with a new chain and all new bearings. It also has true neutral for flat towing and 2WD low mod. Chrysler 8.25" rear axle with 3.55 gears.

Recent work / upgrades
New spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor
Passed emissions and was told it runs very clean
New rear hatch struts
New A/C compressor — blows cool not cold, there may be a small leak somewhere in the system
New rear driveshaft U-joints
Posi-Lock front axle disconnect
New 3" lift coils
JK shocks (longer for lift)
New front brakes
New sway bar disconnect
New track bar bushing
31x10.5" matching tires
Tow brackets installed

Things to know
Tires are old and should be replaced soon. There is a never used spare mounted on the roof.
Light bar and rear lights work intermittently. I believe there is a loose wire somewhere in the previous owner's wiring that I haven't had time to track down.
Front seats are rough underneath the seat covers, but the covers work fine. Rest of interior is approximately 7–8/10.
Minor dents and paint scrapes on the exterior. It has been painted at some point and there are some paint cracks.
Manual windows and locks all work, although some of the windows are harder to roll up/down.
One hood hinge is starting to wear and should eventually be replaced to make the hood easier to open.
Some normal oil seepage for an old Jeep, but no major leaks.

I'm only selling it because I picked up a newer Jeep that the family is more comfortable in. Otherwise, I'd be happy to keep this one.

Fun classic XJ with no rust, a lot of recent work, and already set up for flat towing behind an RV.

$4750 — clean title and currently registered.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0072/8504/7378/files/aim-intake-2533f4259e48478091b59643f33a29d3.jpg?v=1787658783
